Founder and CEO

 
Considered a visionary leader and trailblazer in Sports and Entertainment, Management Plus Enterprises (MPE) has accelerated the multi-dimensional growth of brands in Sports, Entertainment, Media, Tech, and Event Production. By identifying entities with high growth potential, MPE develops brand positioning and go-to-market strategies to accelerate enterprise value through expert management consulting, corporate alliances, calculated positioning execution, and cohesive social and digital infrastructure.

 

MPE’s management team is at the epicenter of the convergence of sports, entertainment, marketing, and technology and specializes in creating, positioning, and building high-growth brands. MPE created a formula for converting celebrity into brand and has applied that formula to help launch clients such as Shaquille O’Neal alongside a powerful coalition of marketing partners while positioning him as a tech influencer. MPE also developed the “Golden Boy” brand for Oscar De La Hoya, now the industry leader in boxing promotion.

 

MPE’s Founder and CEO, Leonard Armato, previously served as the CEO of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, overseeing the growth of it into a global name in the sport. In 2013, MPE, in association with NBC, launched the ASICS World Series of Beach Volleyball, the biggest sports/music/beach lifestyle event of its kind in the world reaching over 23 million viewers annually.

 

Over the past few years, MPE has focused on helping brands utilize music as an engine to build value in brand platforms and has partnered with songwriting/producing superstars “Rock Mafia” to become the industry leader in this area. MPE has orchestrated some of the biggest brand campaigns in the world where music has been integrated in a groundbreaking way. This includes developing musical signature or “sonic identities” for some of the largest brands in the world and then wrapping those signatures into original music themes and compositions reinforcing brand messaging.


Dee Dee Gordon

Her clients span a wide range of industries, and include globally recognized leaders like Porsche, Disney, PepsiCo, Bayer AG, Nike, A24, and Sundance Institute. DeeDee’s process for criteria-based trend identification separates signal from noise, and her techniques for visualizing future scenarios provide detailed inputs for opportunity framing and concept development.

Oversaw strategic partnerships with major studios and technology partners which delivered multi billion dollars in new revenues. Also led and scaled business verticals of Content, Live experiences and Gaming creating new revenue streams to unlock value of Mattel’s intellectual properties


Jennifer Peters

Senior communications professional with over 15 years of agency experience, specializing in consumer lifestyle brands, sports, and entertainment. Broad experience in developing strategic communications plans, enhancing brand equity, marketing communications/product publicity, strategic counsel, media relations, partnership creation, event management, celebrity/influencer seeding and issues management.

 

Has worked with brands such as SONY, DirecTV, Motorola, Nike, ASICS, Major League Baseball, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Smirnoff, Wheaties, Red Bull, eHarmony, ArcLight Cinemas, NBC Universal, Coca-Cola, Boost Mobile and Frito-Lay.


Lexie King
Head of Operations and Business Development Leader

 
Lexie King is a highly-driven and results-oriented Development and Operations professional with a demonstrated history of working in the sports and entertainment industries. She has strong professional skills in Business Development, Operations, Logistics, Client Services, Event Management, Fan Engagement, Digital Media and Data Integration.

 

Lexie has also spearheaded projects with brands such as: The National Basketball Association, World Series of Beach Volleyball, Bleacher Report, Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Klein and Justin Bieber World Tour, Lamborghini, Playboy, Otter Pops, Schwarzkopf, Air New Zealand, and Green Giant.

 

Most recently, Lexie co-founded IMPACT Learning Institute, a leading education and training program for careers in sports, entertainment, and media. She has played a key role in securing academic partnerships with UCLA Anderson Center for MEMES (Management of Enterprise in Media, Entertainment & Sports) and The Knowledge Innovation Center of Forbes School of Business & Technology. Lexie also organized and led the launch of IMPACT’s 501c3 initiative, the IMPACT Access Fund scholarship program, delivering unparalleled opportunities for aspiring professionals from underserved communities and offering them a proven springboard for career success.


Malcolm Henderson
Client Services

 

Malcolm grew up in the Los Angeles Area and has a longtime passion for grassroots sports and entertainment. Malcolm’s previous work experience as a legal consultant provided general support for startup companies ranging in entertainment, consumer products, and nonprofit organizations.

 

As a business development executive, he also has experience in contracts and business communications. His network of community and corporate sponsors will help drive business in his Client Services role at Management Plus Enterprises.
